March 30th 2015 will stay in the memories of most. News reels filled the media with high extreme footage of the great storm that would come to rival Katrina. Hurricane Walter swept over the Bayou once again claiming New Orleans as the wounded animal that could not defend itself against such rage and power as Mother Nature had to injure again. 

 

The floods came and with it claimed the lives of thousands, once again lost in the drowning tides and hellish times. Stranded, frightened and alone. Whole families, generations just lost to the waves and storms. The scrawled SOS signs still linger on rooftops, bodies still being discovered in warped and destroyed homes. New Orleans, once again the site of Hell on Earth. 

 

The Vampires of New Orleans had either left for greener and safer pastures, or had been brought down by the storms. There was little left and the Camarilla felt the loss of the once great and beautiful New Orleans. Their lands demolished and their long fought for presence and riches washed away before their undead eyes. 

 

It is only now with the military and rescue services pulling out of their lost causes that the Kindred of the dark nights are beginning to return and piece together the carnage, rebuild lost temples and havens of the vitae. This is hard times come to test many to their limits.
