Charter's Hill

Charter's Hill hospital is a place that many would not even begin to believe truly existed. Perhaps not only for the use in the Nation and the amount of lives such a place saves, but also the display of sheer strength and ease of the Glasswalker held with such a place of being.

Believe it or not, Charter's is in fact as Caern. An urban Caern near to the Deep. Houston, Texas provides a mass power and staging point for both the Glasswalker who reside there but also the Bonegnawers who take refuge amongst it's streets and subways.

Charter's Hill is fueled by one of the "Twins." Two fire spirits that keep the blazes burning for the two Caerns found within Houston's borders. The Hospital is a fully kitted and fully functional teaching hospital, known for it's academic brilliance amongst the medical circles and professions. It is however one specific wing of the hospital, protected by countless charms and wards that the supernatural are treated for their wounds and sickness.

The hospital caters for some of the most extreme wounds and diseases that the Nation will come across. Even with it's own secured iron walls for those losing their battles to the Wyrm and Harano. But it is not only Garou that are treated within it's grounds, causing suspicion and concern throughout the higher ranks of the Nation. Even vampires and fae have been noted to be on it's patients lists and rosters.

Of course such a place needs a suitable leader and luckily Charter's Hill has just the right Garou for the job. This comes in the shape of a powerful Glasswalker Elder Philodox known to the nation as Equilibrium. "EQ" as he is affectionately known is a careful man with a lot on his plate to keep the grounds and it's occupants safe, from politics and bureaucracy to attacks and destruction. It is not unknown for this vast place to suffer damage by both sides of the fence, Gaian and the Wyrm.

Yet for every attack at it's door, Charter's Hill continues to florish under it's turmoil. EQ has of course secured it's future and in doing so he relaxes in the knowledge that this place will be kept safe even if it costs him his own existence.

One of the first layers of his protection within such a holding lies in the hands of three young women who have come to know EQ as a father figure and for one of those women the term father is literal. Each of these women are doctors with sheer brilliance to their skills.

The second was a smart talking firecracker of a young woman known as Dr Tara Page. Real name is Natasha but barely anyone remembers this to be so. Tara was a strong kinfolk of the Glasswalkers and had intelligence to belittle most around her. She started off as a basic Healthcare Assistant within the Trauma and ER departments but grew then to a picture of dedication she had risen so very quickly through the ranks to head up the ER department of the hospital and be able to stand next to EQ in all his decisions to do with the progression of the hospital's wellbeing and prosperity.

Tara was a harder person than her softer and younger adopted sisters but she protected the Three woman with vigor and with brains. She was known to be involved with the Hounds of Hell as well. More or less public knowledge that she was involved with the Beta and son of the Hounds Founder, Lucas Killdare.

The two had a young son together, Tara having kept herself off of the road for the sake of the hospital's need for her talents and the safety of her young son, Kai Killdare. Unfortunately this decision turned into a deadly one and one night she passed away after having been found by Eva Killdare, he would be sister in law. She had been trapped under a burning beam, during a house fire that claimed her life and narrowly missed killing her 6 month old son.

Her own biological father currently resides within the hospital having suffered with cancer that is still being treated to this day. Tara comes from a line of Kinfolk who married into human society and as such the family has been plagued with disease.

The youngest and perhaps the most volatile of the three comes in the shape of Eva Killdare. A young woman in only her twenties serves the hospital less nowadays, however she is still it's fierce and ferocious protector with her multiple talents. Where Rachel has only shown the skills of the healers, Eva was well known in the Hunter circles as a powerful and feared individual with the dark powers of the darkest praxis combined with those of the light.

She is a brilliant young medic and one that EQ protects with his own reputation when the going gets tough for the young woman. Eva however has turned tribes and was a full fledged and battle hardened kinfolk and huntress of the Fenrir.

Eva is beloved by the fellow "sisters" but she is away from the compounds of Charter's Hill much more than EQ and the others like, now starting to fear more and more for her safety and sanity in the face of the battle against the Wyrm's forces.

Eva is the daughter of the Hounds of Hell founder, John Killdare. To some she is a reflection of the people she sacrifices so much to protect and to others she is a dangerous loose cannon that is to be feared for the day that the Wyrm takes it's final hold over her. However since some heavy spiritual intervention, her outward appearence is not the only thing that has changed. But also her volatile nature seems calmed, which some may find humourous since she has joined the ranks of the Shifters.

The First is Dr Rachel Linstead, EQ's real daughter and only child. Rachel serves as the head of the Trauma and Pathology departments of the hospital. A busy job with two departments to run could drive a mortal man insane with the responsibility and yet rachel seems to be able to hold both with a relaxed ease taught to her by her father. Rachel is not only a kinfolk however, she also has exhibited skills close to the Weaver and as such is labelled as one of the Spider's Huntresses. Yet she has not shown any wish to attack or hunt out the creatures her kind often do. Instead she is a healer and a redeemer of her kind, though questions of course have arisen of keeping her loyal to the Nation which have been repeatedly shrugged off by her powerful father.

Rachel travels at the moment between the Charter's Hill hospital and the encampment of the Hounds of Hell nomadic biker sept that makes it's way through the United States finding the wyrm where it dwells. This raised more suspicion to begin with but now it has been made clear of her intentions due to the announcement of her upcoming marriage to a Silver Fang Ragabash known as Amadeaus Torvold, who currently resides within the group himself.
