Jonathon was born Ireland but was forced to relocate to Northgard due to what can only be determined as paternal family obligation. His powers have been reported to manifest at a very young age. They manifested in such a way that resulted in the serious injury of him self as well as many others including the death of a Garou, and a 2 kinfolk. It is believed for this reason he was sent to Fort Calhoun, Nebraska to train with the now Deceased Jacob Hemingway. 

He has reported Associations with Rogue Hunters, Ellen Cole, Joeb Mansfield, Christopher Flint, and Gregory Kildare. All thought to be dead but none can confirmed. This is well known to be the first Hunting group he was part of calling them selves. One in the Chamber.

Upon Disburiton of his groupe Due to uncomfirmed reasons he returned to Northgard Produced two sons. Gunnar Blythe MacManus and Lief Tyr MacManus with the known Garou Imogen Ranarson. 2 years later there was confirmed sightings of Jonathon In Cork, Ireland, Moscow, Russia, Arizona, USA Texas, USA, Sydney, Austrailia, Toronto, Canada, Hong Kong, China. Cario, Egypt, Modesto, CA, Tennessee, USA, and Edinburgh, Scotland. It is unconfirmed if this was to set up safe houses, If he was hunting, or if this was a simple scouting mission. This would not normally bring so much attention except this all happened with in weeks times. Some of them with in the same day. 

In 1985 Jonathon fell off the grid and there was no confirmed sighting of him for 5 years outside of hear say, until 1992. Him and his boy are confirmed to have been in Modesto, Ca.  No sign of the mother at this time. However it is well thought of a close association with Ellen Cole again.

1999 There are many closed cases with Jonathons name on it. He is regarded as a master hunter at this time though his methods are considered, unconventional. Burning out a whole hospital to eliminate a single elder vampire, though it claimed there were multiple targets with in the facility. When asked about the matter Jonathon simply responded the loss of life was for the greater good. However it is believed at this time Jonathon's humanity is slipping. 

2005 Jonathon is seen fighting along the side of the garou in New Orleans during the post Hurricane Katrina Zombie incursion, again destroying a building full of innocents for what is called for the greater good. 

2008 Jonathon is thought of to be dead killed in a incursion with BSD's Calling themselves the Sins of our Fathers. however this can not be confirmed as no body was found. Amongst them, one of them refers to him self as his Son, Jason Cole. Thought to be illegitimate son of him and Ellen Cole. 

In 2013 Jonathon declared him self U/a Sighting retirement for the sake of not becoming what he hunts. This is thought to be do to a incident with the malicious murder of a group of possessed hunters in New Orleans, this can not be confirmed but t is thought because of the nature of the Murder that MacManus was involved if not the instigator of the crime. 

He now seems to have known associations with the Gang known as the Hounds of Hell by way of his Oldest Son Gunnar MacManus. He was not involved in the incident that resulted in the deaths of 7 garou however it is suspected he took part in the escape of Gunnar MacManus, and Evelyn Kildare. Gunnar however turned himself in to Northgard later that week.

As of recently It is thought his association with his sons and Evelyn Kildare is more of a protection tactic as more and more of the hunters come up missing. However his account remains u/a implying he is staying out of the issues between ourselves and the Garou Nation.
